Relocating? Let me be your guide
When moving to a new town, you can have a lot on your mind: a different job, different schools, a different church, different daily routines, and of course, finding a new place for your family to call "home". At McElroy & Associates, I understand this, and I am an expert in relocation. I have a long history of finding buyers the right home by going through a very specific checklist to help you efficiently narrow your options.
When relocating, you often don't have the time to look at every house for sale. Most likely, you'll get visit a couple dozen, so narrow down that list first thing with these tips:
- Come into town with two lists: One should be of things you must have. The other should be for optional things you want. When a house doesn't even meet your needs, we can naturally eliminate it from the list.
- Have a set price range. This could be based on mortgage or a conservative estimate of what you'll net from the sale of your current home.
- How long of a commute are you comfortable making each day to work and other interests? Traffic in the Tucumcari area could be different than what you're currently experiencing, so let me know your expected drive-time, and I'll locate homes accordingly.
I can send you some best recommendations before we meet in person. Or you might already have some favorite listings as a result of your own research. While seeing listing photos on the web is invaluable, there's nothing like touring homes in person. Let me set up any necessary appointments with other Realtors or homeowners and map a route. We could go to up to 8 or 10 homes in a single day with the proper planning.
