Relocating to a new town is stressful on its own, without considering the daunting task of searching for a home in addition to finding the right Realtor. When relocating, you often don't have the time to look at every house for sale. Most likely, you'll be able to see 20 to 25, so narrow down the list first thing with these tips:
- Before leaving town, write your needs into one list. Then list the things you simply want in another. When a house comes up short on your must-haves, it's one less house to look at.
- Know your budget. If you are getting a mortgage, know your pre-approved amount beforehand so we can eliminate homes beyond your budget.
- How long of a commute are you willing to make each day to work and other activities? Traffic in the Tucumcari area could be different than what you're currently experiencing, so let me know your expected drive-time, and I'll locate homes based on my knowledge of drive times in the area.
I can send you some top recommendations before we meet in person. Or if you've done your own research already, let me know what you've found. While seeing listing photos on the web is invaluable, there's nothing like walking through homes in person. Let me set up any necessary appointments and map a route. We could visit up to 8 or 10 homes in a single day if we work efficiently.
